GILBERT, Ariz. -- A bride was arrested after she reportedly kicked a police officer who arrived to break up a fight at her wedding reception.

Gilbert police officers responded to a home in the 3200 block of South 147th Place at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call. Yelling and screaming could be heard in the background, according to Sgt. Bill Balafas with the Gilbert Police Department.

A 28-year-old man was jailed after allegedly pouring laundry detergent on his girlfriend's legs during a dustup over the bottled clothing cleanser, according to a recently released arrest affidavit.
John Walter Hoffman told Port St. Lucie police March 19 that he and his girlfriend started an argument over laundry detergent that escalated to a struggle over the bottle.

Rapist uses facebook to get victims


ALBANY -- A 24-year-old Colonie man who used Facebook to meet hundreds of teenage girls was sentenced Thursday to 13 years in state prison for raping four of the girls in his home.
David Bradt pleaded guilty in January to four counts of third-degree rape for having sex with the underage victims -- ages 15 and 16 -- in his Maplewood Avenue home between July 2 and Oct. 10. His plea deal called for between 12 and 13 years in prison.

SCOTTDALE, Pa. – Police say a western Pennsylvania man left his sleeping 4-year-old son home alone while he went outside and prentended to be a ninja warrior.
Online court records show 28-year-old Ross Hurst, of Scottdale, has applied for a public defender but has yet to be appointed one.
The Daily Courier of Connellsville reports Hurst was charged March 3 after police found him outside about 1:30 a.m. dressed all in black and "playing ninja" on a borough street. Scottdale is about 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
Police say Scott told them his mother was watching the child, but the boy's grandmother said Hurst never asked her to babysit.
Hurst's listed telephone is not in service. He faces a preliminary hearing March 30 on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
